Social Activities at the Centre

There are lots of opportunities to meet people and make friends.  Many are based around Art and Music but others are just to be with people.

Monday Lunch Club

Run in partnership with MHA –  Live at Home scheme.  It meets every Monday except Bank Holidays.

A friendly group who come and enjoy a good lunch together and maybe some exercise.

11am – 12 noon Movers and shakers £4.00

12.30 – 2pm  Lunch (hot 2 course meal) and social time £6.00

(£5.00 if you also attend Movers and Shakers) Open to everyone over 55. Come to one, all day or any combination.

Film Club

Free event showing an up date appropriate film on the Big Screen in the Church.  Meet at 1.45 for a brew and the film starts at 2.15 to coincide with the Bus.  Ice creams at half time  75p. Evreyone Welcome

The Foyer

Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 10.30 -12.30 the Foyer is open to grab a brew from the machines for a donation.  There is good internet and you can work in the presence of others, grab a book from the Bring and Borrow Bookstand or meet a friend and have a chat.

Friday Market & Coffee Morning

Want to meet some new friends or have a social time with existing friends, this is for you.  There are big tables so people mix.  The stalls sell preloved items.  A brew is £1 including biscuits. Cheesy oatcakes are free or a donation. Everyone welcome.
